To provide Torah-based educational, spiritual and social programming to Jewish children in public school, inspiring them to feel more connected to their Jewish heritage.
Kulanu is a dynamic adaption of the traditional Hebrew school model, offering vibrant and exciting educational, spiritual and social programming for Jewish children in public school, including those who have left yeshiva or Jewish day school.
Aimed at grades three through 12 (based on demand), the goals of Kulanu are to:
1 To strengthen Jewish identity;
2 To create a venue outside of school for peer socialization in a Jewish environment;
3 To provide educational classes to those who have not attended yeshiva so they become knowledgeable about the tenets of Judaism; and to provide continuing Torah education to those students who formerly attended yeshiva;
4 To increase students’ spiritual connection to Judaism, so that on a long-term basis they will live committed Jewish lifestyles.
NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY BECAUSE OF INABILITY TO PAY.
